CLIMATE
LEADERSHIP
PROGRAMME
A holistic and intersectional training programme that aims to equip young leaders (between the ages of 18-25) with the knowledge and skills required to be agents of change for climate action and sustainable development.
What is the Climate Leadership Programme?
TCI's flagship programme, the Climate Leadership Programme (CLP) is a transformative stepping stone for youth who aspire to make a meaningful impact in the fight against the climate crisis.
It equips young leaders with the essential skills and knowledge to drive climate action and sustainable development. It addresses gaps in climate understanding, offers practical opportunities to lead initiatives, provides one on one mentorship and guidance, and fosters a network connecting emerging professionals with experienced climate practitioners.
Local Focus:
The CLP offers hands-on,
context-specific training that directly applies to the challenges faced by local communities.
Global Lens:
At the same time, the programme trains youth on international climate policy making, to bridge the gaps in knowledge and understanding and gives a broader lens to climate action.
Accessible Mentorship:

It provides practical guidance through dedicated mentors, which is something often missing in conventional climate courses.
Empowerment of Marginalised Voices:
By reducing costs and ensuring practical access to resources, CLP specifically empowers youth—those from marginalised communities—to lead effective climate action.
Community Building:
The programme fosters a supportive, cohort-based community where young people can collaborate, learn, and grow together.
