Climate Leadership Programme
A holistic and intersectional training programme that aims to equip young leaders (between the ages of 18-25) with the knowledge and skills required to be agents of change for climate action and sustainable development.
What is the aim of the programme?

The Climate Leadership Programme consists of:
A six-month learning programme for students and young university graduates to broaden their technical knowledge on the realities of climate change, exchange views with peers and experts in the field, and expand their professional network.
The programme consists of the following components:

Objectives
Create a tight knit community

equip budding climate leaders with a comprehensive understanding of the climate crisis &
associated green skills to enable them to undertake and/or build effective climate action initiatives within their communities or at larger scale.
Connect the climate leaders
​
with mentors and organisations with whom they can either develop a project outline of their own or do an internship which can translate into youth-led action-based climate solutions.
Build a network
young climate leaders from India can collaborate with and learn from partner organisations, experts, and other youth climate leaders, leading to sharing of emerging knowledge and opportunities for networking, internships & jobs, & skill development.
This programme is delivered by TCI in collaboration with
UNESCO New Delhi, Youth Ki Awaaz and the POP Movement.
